David Greco is an artist. That much is clear. The Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter started out illustrating comic books. Instead of an illustrious career drawing super-powered do-gooders saving the world, Greco found himself with a guitar in hand, writing songs about his tendencies toward cowardice, depravity and need for redemption. It's a long way from Superman and saving the world, but this kind of honesty packaged in such a hopeful soundscape can't help but make the world a more beautiful place.
Last night I played a concert in my friend, Allison’s living room. A bunch of people who had no idea who I was (and some people who hadn’t seen me since jr. high) came to hear acoustic music. It was so much fun.
